FakeLive

Terms of Service

Terms of Service

FakeLive is a parody/entertainment app that synthesizes a fake live broadcast UI (viewer count, comments, hearts, super chats, filters) on top of your camera feed so that you can create content for social media. There is no real broadcasting capability.

Effective date: May 24, 2026

Important Disclaimer — FakeLive is purely for fun and entertainment; no actual live broadcast occurs. All viewer counts, comments, donations, and reactions you see on screen are fake data that you (the user) have pre-configured.

1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of FakeLive (the "Service"), the rights and obligations of the operator and users, and related liabilities.

2. Nature of the Service

3. Sign-up & Accounts

FakeLive does not require sign-up or login. The nickname and other inputs are stored only on your device.

4. User Content Responsibility

Recording, editing, posting, or sharing screens created with the Service is your responsibility. The operator bears no liability for user-generated content or its consequences.

We strongly recommend labelling posts with hashtags such as "#parody" or "#fakelive" so viewers understand the content is not a real broadcast.

5. Prohibited Use

6. Advertising

The Service may display Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Ad content is delivered by Google and is not directly curated by the operator. Matters arising from ads follow the ad provider's terms and policies.

7. Camera Permission

The Service requires access to the front camera to build the fake live screen. Camera frames are not sent externally and are only processed on-device.

8. Service Changes & Termination

The operator may modify or terminate the Service in whole or in part without prior notice. Changes are announced through the app or this page.

9. Limitation of Liability

The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the free Service except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. The user is solely responsible for any impact, damage, or dispute caused by content created with the Service.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service follow the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
